At the intersection of finance and innovation is CVX Ventures’ newest addition to the team, Louise Fur Høier. With solid experience from both Danske Bank and Saxo Bank, she now takes on the role as Head of Partner Engagement & Events at CVX Ventures. Louise brings a unique combination of marketing expertise and event management to the table, a skill set that is essential for strengthening CVX’s community and business development.
Louise’s journey began in the financial sector, where as Head of Events at Danske Bank and Saxo Bank, she honed her skills in organizing valuable events. “It’s always been about creating valuable experiences and connections,” Louise reflects on her time in banking. “And it’s this passion for connecting people and ideas that I bring to CVX.”
After a stint in the Life Science industry at Medicon Valley Alliance, Louise returns to a more finance-related role. “I see CVX as a fusion of my previous experience and my interest in startups,” says Louise. “It’s exciting to return to the world of finance and at the same time dive into the startup ecosystem.”
A strategic focus on events and CVX community
In her new role as Head of Partner Engagement & Events for CVX Ventures, Louise has a clear focus on developing and hosting pitch events as well as nurturing and growing the CVX community within our partner community. “I see a great opportunity in creating synergies between our partners and startups,” Louise explains. “It’s about creating an environment where valuable connections and exchanges can be made that go beyond the expected.”
Louise emphasizes creating events that are not only about presenting startups to potential investors, but also giving them a platform to share and exchange ideas. “It can be new insights, unexpected connections, or just a great experience that goes beyond the agenda. It’s essential to me that our events are not just meetings, but experiences that enrich both personally and professionally,” she emphasizes.
With an eye on the future, Louise is working on developing new concepts for CVX’s partner events and masterclasses.“I’m excited to explore new formats that can empower our partners and help startups on their journey,” she says. Her vision is clear: to create an environment where innovation and collaboration thrive, and where each partner feels valued and engaged.
A bridge builder for CVX partners
Louise sees herself as a bridge builder for the company’s partners. “Our partners are more than welcome to contact me with their ideas, needs or even concerns,” says Louise. “My goal is to ensure that each partner feels valued and heard, and that together we can find the best solutions to strengthen their engagement in our community.”
Louise emphasizes the importance of open communication and close collaboration.“Whether it’s giving input on our events, suggesting new initiatives or discussing challenges, my door is always open,” she explains. “It’s about creating an environment where our partners feel comfortable sharing their thoughts and ideas, and together we can work towards improving and expanding the value they receive from CVX Ventures.”
Louise is determined to contribute to a dynamic and fruitful collaboration between investors, board members and startups. With her experience and strategic approach, CVX Ventures is well on its way to strengthening its community and continuing to be a catalyst for growth and innovation in the Scandinavian startup scene.
