BYON8

BYON8 is a Swedish B2B SaaS company focused on digital healthcare solutions in emerging markets, primarily Africa. Their platform uses AI to offer symptom checking, virtual consultations, and diagnostic tools, addressing a significant gap in accessible, affordable healthcare. They have a first-mover advantage in the African digital health market, which is rapidly growing.

BYON8’s traction in the digital health market is evident through substantial month-over-month growth of 68% in subscribers since 2023, capitalizing on partnerships with major telecom and insurance providers to drive rapid user acquisition. Their customer lifetime value (CLTV) has tripled, now reaching $178, while their monthly recurring revenue (MRR) stands at $13.5k. With momentum building, BYON8 projects MRR to surpass $50k by 2025. Their long-term financial targets include generating $18 million in annual revenue and achieving $7 million in EBITDA by 2028, positioning the company for sustainable growth in emerging healthcare markets.

BYON8’s total fundraising round is $800,000, structured as a convertible loan agreement and led by People Ventures. CVX investors have the opportunity to participate with an allocation of up to $150,000 available through a special purpose vehicle (SPV), requiring a minimum investment of $5,000 per investor and a combined minimum contribution of over $50,000. To date, this round has already secured €452,000, with €354,000 funded and an additional $70,000 remaining in cash. The convertible loan terms include an 8% interest rate, a 35% discount, and a pre-money valuation cap of $9.3 million.

MasterKeg

Masterkeg is a collapsible, reusable keg solution designed to boost profitability and sustainability in draft beer packaging. With up to 20% higher margins than steel kegs and over 100% compared to plastic, Masterkeg reduces waste by 90% while preserving quality. Its space-efficient design allows for 70% more kegs per shipment, and the 50L model—the first of its size in plastic—provides a sustainable alternative for breweries and distributors.

Masterkeg has secured conditional funding of €200,000 from Innovation Norway, pending an additional €50,000 investment to unlock it. This funding will cover production-ready tooling and reduce testing risks. They have agreements with Dugges, a Swedish brewery, and Caldic Brew, Europe’s largest brewery distributor, to test the product and potentially become customers. Additionally, Masterkeg is finalizing a supplier agreement with a Chinese manufacturer to cover half of the tooling investment, further lowering production risks.

Masterkeg is looking for a candidate with expertise in business development, sales strategy, and funding, alongside a strong investor network, ideally within the food, beverage production, or delivery sectors.

BioApplications

Bioapplications, a Danish skincare company founded in 2017, develops and sells natural skincare and personal care products under the BioB brand, catering to both adults and babies. Committed to sustainability, BioB uses biodegradable sugarcane plastic packaging, reducing water use and promoting environmental responsibility throughout their product development process.

Bioapplications has built strong traction over the past five years, led by a skilled team. In 2023, they sold 20,000 products primarily through eCommerce, generating 2.7M DKK in revenue, with projections to reach 3.5M DKK this year, reflecting growing interest in their BioB skincare line. The company is now expanding into the baby skincare market, focusing on products for babies with psoriasis, a segment valued at 3.9 billion EUR—marking a significant step in Bioapplications’ growth.

Bioapplications is looking for an ideal candidate with a strong background in marketing, combined with expertise in retail and e-commerce, to drive brand growth, boost customer engagement, and expand the company’s presence across various channels.

Spellscaper

Spellscaper, a Swedish game development startup, is transforming game creation with an AI-powered platform that lets users easily play and design games together. Functioning as a “sandbox” environment, players can freely create, explore, and modify elements in an open world. Backed by a team with up to 30 years of experience at companies like Dice, Ubisoft, and Rovio, Spellscaper aims to make game development accessible to everyone. Their Closed Beta launch will gather user feedback to refine the platform, advancing their vision of a community-driven gaming experience.

Spellscaper raised USD 1.2M in a pre-seed round from gaming VC Behold Ventures, enabling them to build and launch their platform. Through qualitative testing with ~1,000 in-person users, they observed that ~10% played for over an hour and returned the next day, helping them identify their first power users and refine their interface.

The ideal candidate should have experience in pricing strategy, marketing, go-to-market, social media, and funding, with a background in gaming & VR, HR & education, or entertainment preferred.

Coreway

Coreway, a German MedTech company, helps people manage chronic inflammatory bowel disease (CED) by predicting symptom outbreaks through health data analysis. Using the Delphi algorithm, which combines smart device and survey data, Coreway provides personalized risk assessments to enable preventive actions like medication or diet changes. Operating with a SaaS model targeting both B2C and B2B markets, Coreway offers an interactive platform with educational content, recipes, and self-management tools, empowering users to proactively improve their health and quality of life.

Coreway has validated its proof of concept with the University of Southern Denmark and raised €350,000 in pre-seed funding, providing a two-year runway for its experienced team, with backgrounds at Pfizer and Sphinotec. Accepted into top accelerators like GmbH and HDM Startup Center, Coreway has secured additional soft funding to fuel growth. The team is working toward CE certification, with a commercial launch slated for Q2 2025, aiming to start with 1,000 paying customers through letters of intent, clinic partnerships, and collaboration with the University of Southern Denmark.

The ideal candidate should bring a strong background in regulatory affairs, extensive experience in the life sciences sector, and proven expertise in go-to-market strategies, enabling them to navigate compliance requirements and effectively drive market entry and growth.

Attáge

Attáge, founded in Stockholm in 2020, designs high-quality, functional attaché bags handmade in Spain and crafted from vegan leather primarily derived from apples. By using apples, Attáge offers improved biodegradability, making its products more sustainable at the end of their life cycle than many other vegan leather options. Driven by a commitment to slow, sustainable fashion, Attáge focuses on timeless designs that cater to busy professionals while minimizing environmental impact. Founder Jonna’s vision was to create a versatile, elegant business bag that combines ethics with style, using bio-based leather alternatives like UppealTM to reduce toxins and promote conscious consumption. The brand emphasizes ethical production and aims to provide premium, eco-friendly fashion solutions.

Since its launch in late 2022, Attáge has grown from a single product to a range of 13 items, attracting a growing customer base and achieving 180,000 SEK in sales with positive feedback. Focused on offering an affordable, eco-friendly alternative in the handbag market, Attáge aims to challenge established brands and set new sustainability standards. Looking ahead, the brand plans to expand its reach both online and in stores, positioning itself for substantial growth and a stronger market presence.

The ideal candidate should bring a strong background in marketing, with expertise in e-commerce and brand strategy to effectively drive brand growth, enhance customer engagement, and strengthen market presence.

Consenz, a Sweden-based company, enhances road safety with its AI-powered, retrofit head-up display that projects essential driving information onto the windshield, keeping drivers focused on the road. Consenz has secured €500,000 in funding from private investors associated with industry leaders such as Volvo, Scania, and MAN. Key partnerships include collaborations with Bring, a logistics provider, and Quectel, a global IoT solutions company, along with strategic alliances with Google Cloud to enhance their tech capabilities. Consenz has been recognized with “Best Startup” awards from both Volvo and telecommunications company 3. Additionally, their board includes senior Volvo executives, bringing critical expertise and support to drive Consenz’s mission of advancing road safety through innovative technology.

Consenz is looking for an ideal candidate with a strong background in B2B sales, expertise in distribution strategies, and a solid understanding of marketing principles to drive market reach and build impactful partnerships.
