Kim Drud Abildgaard, Board & Advisory Manager
Hello.
My name is Kim and I’m a Board & Advisory Manager. My job here is to screen start-up and growth companies that are set on establishing or strengthening their Advisory- or Board as well as be their main interface during their engagement with CVX. The screening process we perform is to ascertain and ensure that the Founders strategy and aim align with our concept.
Background
My background is centered around international sales, where I held the position of Sales Manager for a long period of time before joining CVX. That has provided me with a lot of experience in working with people from diverse backgrounds, a skill set that I am currently putting to good use. Joining CVX Ventures marks my first step into the venture capital environment, which represents a new but exciting turn in my career.
Highlight
It is really exciting and uplifting to see all the genius concepts and innovative ideas generated by the Vikings in the north. Getting to help start-ups and growth companies navigate through the often challenging first years and frequently to be their initial interface with the not often translucent scene of venture capital is really rewarding.
The casual side of corporate
Outside of work, I am a bit of a bookworm when it comes to fictional literature. Other than that, my time is spent with my girlfriend, family, and friends. Beyond that, PC gaming is often a central part of the time I spend with friends.
