Lunar has expanded their latest investment round, which in September sent DKK 212 million. DKK into the company. Lunar states that this is not a new investment round, but a so-called second close of the round from September.
“Therefore, it is a question of 40 million DKK extra for the round from September, which therefore amounts to approx. 250 million DKK,” says Lunar in a written comment.
According to Lunar, they had not succeeded in raising money to comply with an additional capital requirement of DKK 650 million. DKK, which the Norwegian Financial Supervisory Authority issued to the bank in the middle of the acquisition process.
“The last round was definitely the hardest ever. Investors have generally become very picky,” said the founder in his presentation at the conference, where he also said that Lunar has had a greater focus on profitability since the spring.
The money raised in September came from existing investors. Lunar stated in this connection that the participants in the round were primarily the already larger players in the ownership circle.
