Dutch billion-dollar fund buys majority stake in Aalborg-based software company

Main Capital Partners, who raised its latest billion-dollar fund last year, is the new main shareholder in the Danish software company Timeplan Software. With the fund behind it, acquisitions will be an important driver in Timeplan's growth strategy.

The Dutch capital fund Main Capital Partners is the new majority shareholder in Danish Timeplan Software, which was founded in Aalborg in 1995.

The primary seller is Henrik Baasch, founder of the company, which specializes in development of workforce management solutions.

This type of solution helps companies and organizations with shift planning, time recording and HR administration.

“Timeplan has built a powerful and, at the same time flexible solution that supports leading industry players in their respective segments,” says Wessel Ploegmakers, partner at Main Capital Partners.

The capital fund, which has its head office in The Hague, Netherlands, was founded in 2003. Main Capital Partners invests in software companies from the Benelux, DACH and the Nordics and has AUM of over 2.2 billion. Euro.
