The Danish software company Enterspeed has raised a small double-digit million amount in a new investment round. The capital will be used to make a bet on the international market, and England will be the first new market for Enterspeed.
“We have raised the money to go into England. They are similar to Danes in many ways, but they are a few years behind in development. On the other hand, they take faster decisions” says Enterspeed CEO, Toke Lund.
The investment comes from, among others, two new investors, one of which is the private investor Samt Auke van Urk, who is the CTO at Valtech, while the other is the Finnish venture fund Innovestor Ventures.
Preseed Ventures and North-East Venture, who previously invested in Enterspeed, are also a part of the investment round.
“We have also got the existing investors involved in this round, and I take that as a huge pat on the back and recognition that what we are doing is absolutely right” says Toke Lund.
To reach the end customers it is first necessary to persuade a number of new partners. Enterspeed is looking for strategic partners to sell their product through.
“We are entering through partnerships with consulting houses and software companies, and the ambition is to enter into dialogue with some large, international players. We must punch above our weight” says Toke Lund.
